World at war beta - I GOT IT !!!

just installes my COD4 : World at War Beta demo... got the key and stuff.
anyone wants an invite? tell me.

What what what!  Is the beta out for general use!

get the key by going to the callofduty.com website
then go to the World at war section and register a new user and get the demo key by email i think or in your COD profile page.

then i'll give you a link to grab the demo executable.

Yup, just like he says,
1. Go to http://www.CallofDuty.com
2. Go to the upper-right corner of the site and sign-in on the dogtags.
3. Click the Account/Profile sub-tab of your profile.
4. Notice your CD Key for the PC Beta and the download mirror for the installer.
5. Download the installer and run the application.
6. Follow the installer instructions and enter your valid CD Key.
7. Finish installation and enjoy the Multiplayer Beta!

I find Gamershell works very well for me.

About 20 min dl.....

As far as I'm concerned, it's COD4 re-skinned to WW2.  The exact same perks, same senseless FPS mayhem.  Quite a let-down.  Beta's as far as I go with this title, in fact, I'm already done.

Varg I have the same problem with the .dll error. All you need to do is go and download the latest version of directx 9 and all will be good. (Bet you have Vista don't ya!) I am not to impressed with the beta. Nice graphics, but I am not too keen on the game play. Like Bayo said it is a re-skinned COD 4 and it is just mass chaos on small maps. Don't think I will be putting money out for it.

i did not play COD4 alot on multiplayer mode, was cool though. But with this new release and seeing the same kind of spawn killed wtf where and how... grafx are nice and sounds are cooooool, but multiplayer gaming is not up to what many players expected of a new release.
They could have done much better.
We played online games with a better multiplayer feeling.
Sorry COD... you won't be getting my $$ this time.

Seems people do not like the UT style of play which COD seems to have adopted.  I will get it for the single player aspects only. Loved the first COD single player!

This means BF1942 is still the KING!
can't beat the classics.

single player is another thing. COD always had a very good/solid singleplayer mode.
